Lapada Art & Antiques fair 2018

Berkeley Square, London W1

We will once again be taking part at this glamorous fair in the wonderful location of Berkeley Square. Visitors can view a wide selection of antiques and fine art from dealers around the country and overseas.

We are still making our final choices of what to exhibit but most definitely, if not already sold, we will be taking a very fine pair of George III period gilt carved mirrors beautifully designed with hoho birds. Also, we have another fine example of George III period over-mantle with exquisite carving.

A very elegant side cabinet will also be on display which we can almost certainly say is from the workshops of Gillow's of Lancaster. As well as a beautifully drawn writing desk, again most probably by Gillow's and which has it's virtually identical twin residing at Uppark in West Sussex.

Purchase Information

As this is not an e-commerce website purchases need to be made with communication with ourselves via email, telephone or by visiting our shop. Our aim is to make your experience as simple as possible, we therefore provide our bank details on our invoices so as online payments can be made easily or we accept all major credit and debit cards. We also accept American Express and for overseas clients, unless paying by Bacs, this would be our preferred method of payment.

Terms of payment can be agreed. We can offer various options of payment made over a period of time depending on the price of the item.

Delivery

For overseas purchases we can obtain competitive shipping quotes. Deliveries within the UK are carried out either by our preferred carriers of by Lennox Cato himself. Charges for delivery are either added into the cost of the item or added separately. This depends on the final negotiation.

As an Art Participant we are a regulated business under MLRs 2017, we are therefore obliged to collect certain information from yourself when completing a sale that falls into the scope of Anti Money Laundering. This includes, art, bronzes and needle works that are priced over £8,500.
