A fine pair of 18th century Swiss Lakeland views painted in gouache and framed in fine gilt-wood frames. by Johann Joseph Hartmann (1735 - 1830)
The pictures show the Island of St. Peter by the lake of St. Bienne depicting the arrival of Rousseau who lived there for a short time in 1765.
